How To Decoupage Candles
by D.J. Nelson

Description: Give your candles a new look by applying decoupage to them.

The Supplies

  • Candle
  • Sealer
  • Glue
  • Paper cutouts
  • Oil based varnish
  • Clear Tape
  • Sanding Pad

The Technique

Mark the area of your design on the candle. Gently sand the area to be painted with a sanding pad. Thinly coat the area with varnish. Allow 24 hours to pass. Apply another thin coat. Apply paper cutouts with glue.
