Making a Spring Wreath from Fabric Scraps
by Rachel Paxton

Description: Tips for making an easy spring wreath from fabric scraps.

Sponsored links:

Looking for an inexpensive wreath for your front door? I recently made an easy spring wreath for $3 using some fabric scraps I already had on hand.

I purchased an 18-in. grape vine wreath from Walmart for $3. They also had 12-in. wreaths for $2.

I next went through all my fabric scraps and chose a pretty spring print (pale yellow with small yellow rose buds). Using pinking shears, I cut about 30 4-inch-long, 1-inch-wide strips of fabric (less than 1/4 yard).

Next I tied the fabric scraps in varying intervals around the grape vine wreath. To finish it off I cut a longer, wider strip of fabric to use for a bow at the bottom of the wreath.

If you want to give your wreath some more color, you can tuck real or artificial flowers into it between the fabric pieces.

There you go, an easy spring wreath!
